I guess I forgot to tell you her name! Her name is Jewel, but we have renamed her Ji'e 寂娥 (pronounced Gia). It is Chinese, of course, and means Lonely Pretty young woman.
Also, it was so cute the night we brought her home. Baili always sleeps with us, so Thursday night we put Ji'e in her cage and took Baili in our room. Baili kept freakin' out! She wouldn't just lay down and go to sleep, she kept whining and crying so we finally took her out and put her in her cage next to Ji'e's. We had no problems after that! They hadn't even met outside of their cages but she had to be next to her jiejie (older sister). It was so cute!

Our Newest Edition
Our little Baili now has a big sister! Erin may have beaten us to the punch but this has been in the works for about a month now, we just didn't tell anyone :) She is a rescue dog. Her former owner had her in a cage that was too small for her when she was growing and it stunted her growth. She just wasn't being taken proper care of so the breeder took her back. That left her with no home. The other issue was that she was ready to be bred. She had 10 gorious pups last time so they def wanted to breed her, so they did. And we decided to take her in. She and Baili are getting along pretty well so far. They have only had some issues with bones and water dishes, but we are getting that all straightened out. She is adjusting very very well. We just brought her home last night and she already curls up in our laps and loves to cuddle with us. She is small but pure muscle. Her lower point of gravity gives her more leverage to pull. Today we went for a walk at the park of roses and she walks great! Hopefully Baili can learn to stop pulling from her. We have a video up of the two of them playing this morning so check it out!

A Test of Loyalties...
Chris finally tries to go into the bedroom to make her interested, but it isn't until I get up to go to bed that she responds...

Aaaand.....GOO!!!!!!
I just had to wait for something exciting to happen and as you can see it did! Chris and I were getting ready for work yesterday morning and we were both in the laundry room getting dressed. All-of-a-sudden I hear, "Oh Geez!" "Mother that hurt" "Aarrgghh!!" I turned around wonndering what in the world happened and Chris turns his shoulder to me and I see the top photo that you see hear. My mind didn't put it together cause it looked like a peeling sunburn and I was just like, "huh". He said he was backing up to get out of my way and he backed up into the flue from the furnace. When I realized what happened I was just like, "Oh Crap!" I started looking for the neosporine with pain reliever and of course couldn't find it since we actually had a situation goin' on. I had to go out to his work truck and get into the first aid kit and get ointment. Now mind you, this is about 5:30 am and it's probably 20 some degrees outside. I had to hurry and get dressed and go outside and immediately slipped on the ice and dropped the flashlight which proptly fell apart into three pieces. I don't think that it had registered just how serious it was at first. When it finally hit me I was like, "I'm gonna be late for work!!!" So then I'm trying to call off work, find stuff to put on the burn, and not freak out all at the same time. Seriously, if this would have been on anyone else I would not have been able to deal with it, and I'm not a weak stomached person! Since it was on his shoulder he can't reach it. He tried to get some of the dead skin off and when he pulled on it more and more was coming off...eww...so I finally was just like "Let me do it!" (He normally doesn't trust me) So I had to peel all the dead skin...SICK!!...and bandage it up. Luckily, we had just enough gauze to cover it. He went to work for a while and then went to Urgent Care. They gave him a script for silvadine cream and we restocked on gauze. After having to clean it last night and this morning I also made sure to buy some latex gloves. I would rather clean up puke than clean it. It's dee-scugst-ing!! There are colors and smells coming from that thing that the human body should not produce! The bottom picture is from last night. It's already healing up really well.
But needlessly to say, we have had an exciting past couple of days! So there you go, there is your update. NOW BACK OFF!

Interesting Weekend
Good grief!! What a weekend! Friday night Chirs and I headed down to the ville to spend the night. Meanwhile Baili went out on the town (pics to come later). I tried to finish my buckeyes but the chocolate was really thick so I tried to had a little milk to thin it out...little did I know apprently that just makes melted chocolate chips solid!!
Saturday we went to Grams to watch OSU spank Michigan and had a really good time. At about 3 am I heard a crash, Baili jump a mile high, and Tyler screaming. I thought that Tyler might have fallen out of bed or something even though it had sounded alittle more serious than that. We ended up being up till 5:30am because of the wrech (see Erin's site).
When Erin came downstairs to wake me up Sunday morning I felt instantly sick. It felt like I was car sick. I wasn't sure what was going on but I knew it wasn't good. I decided not to go to meeting and I think that was one of the best decions I have made in a long time! About 20 minutes after they left I started throwing up. I threw up 9 times in 4 hours. I haven't felt that horrible since my appendix! I finally stopped and was able to go home about 7pm. When we got home Chris got my some applesouce and I had two bowls. I slept till 3:20pm today. It was pretty funny, Target called me atlike 9:30 this morning to see if I was going to be in tomorrow. I just told 'em I have no idea! I just threw up 9 times in 4 hours I have no idea when I'm gonna feel like workin on my feet for 8 hours again! I feel ok right now, just still a little weak since I haven't had much to eat. Now I'm just hopin' Chris doesn't get it!!

WoO hOo!!!
Well...we finally have the internet again, Fair warning that it will probably have no impact on how often I post...just like Candy! Chris has a blog now too so y'all will have to check it out. The address is http://volusiacounty800.blogspot.com/. You may see some of the same pics becuase I can't find my usb cord for my camera right now. The puppy is doing great. They think that she might be able to be the youngest grand champion in the US if she starts doing shows soon. She's an absoluting gorgiously perfect dogo.
I don't know how many of you know, but I got a new job at Target! I just couldn't take the stress of my last job so I quit in the middle of October. I used the rest of the month to go in service since I was aux pioneering and got the job at Target about two weeks ago. I just finished my first full week working and I love it! I'm working on the pricing team marking all the clearance and changing amy shelf labels for price changes. I start at 6am and will be getting off around noon everyday. It's great.

Motown Kelly's Back Again....
Doin' her little East Coast thang!!!
So this time I come to you from the home Mindy Grady and of our future puppy...that's right, puppy. Most of you have already heard that Chris and I are getting a dog. More specifically a Dogo Argentino. These are the most amazing dogs!! We just got here last night and were around the mothers long enough to feed them and take them outside and already the are completely comfortable with us. They don't bark when we come in the room and the fight us when we try to put them back. The oldest, Bellah, who is 5 years old is constantly jumping up on me wanting me to just give her as much attention as possible. They love for us to just hug them around there necks and they put their chins on our shoulders as we pet them. They are completely comfortable with us doing whatever with the puppies. Pretty awesome from two 80 lbs horses that "look so mean"!! We are so excited to get our little "Bai Li" (pronounced BUY-LEE) which means "White Beauty". We will be able to bring her home in another month. We don't know which one she is yet since they are only 4 weeks old. Because they are so young their personalities are just now coming out...they bullies and the barkers are starting to show themselves. Also, we have to wait until Mindy is able to take them to Michigan to get their hearing tests. Dogos, like most white animals, are more likely to suffer from deafness. In fact there was one puppy who slept all through their feeding today, and we wonder is it isn't deaf...he was in a cage with 12 other puppies and a giant bowl of food and never moved a muscle. I thought it might even be dead!!
I will try to get some pictures up here eventually...can't yet since I'm not on my own computer, but hopefully we will be Internet again, although hard to tell how long that will be. It does no good to have Internet if you don't have money to pay you electric bill!!!
Mindy also has an African Survel. Google it...they are awesome!! He doesn't like any one but Mindy though, he just hisses at us. So Mom keep your distance!!
Check out Mindy's website for the Dogos. The mother of our puppy will more than likely be Bellah (I say that because her daughter Jazzlin also just had 3 puppies) and the father is Fabulous. Jazzlin was #3 national Dogo Champ in 2006, and Fabulous was #1 national Dogo Champ in 2007. Absolutely beautiful dogs. The pictures do them absolutely no justice.

Well...things here are still going good. We are just counting down the days until our Myrtle Beach Vacation!!!! We brokedown and bought and iPod today for the trip. It plays 14 hours of music and it's a 10 hrs drive so it should work out well. We did get two more friends for Rooney. We decided to stick with the music theme (Rooney is one of my fav bands) and we now have Linkin (Linkin Park) and Gwen (Gwen Stephani). They are two of the cutest little poop machines ever!! Well...it's late, my laptop is about to die and it a million degrees on my lap, and I'm bumming off of a friends wireless internet so I'm outta here!!!

And on to the Hard Part...
Well, we are in contract with the house. Now we just have to wait to get our financing taken care of. I guess we made $3,000 too much to get any down payment assistance. We had to get alternate lines of credit and we called all of our utilities a month ago and requested all of our payment histories, but WOW and AT&T are not helping at all. WOW still hasn't sent it, and now AT&T is saying that they can't since we are no longer customers. They are so horrible that there are no words. And they are just turning themselves into a Monopoly...AGAIN...since Bellsouth is getting ready to join them too. GGGRRR.....I really really don't like them. But anyway, that's the lastest. Till next time....

Here we Go...Again....
Well...we are signing an offer on a house today. I'm so nervous!! As we were waiting for our realitor to look at it, three other cars pulled up. It was another realitor and a couple coming to look at it, so I'm nervous that we won't get it. If we don't it won't be a huge deal....we just really want it. The house has everything we were looking for, except a basement. But there is plenty of room and storage that it not really a big issue. It has a big two car garage and three small storage shed's behind it. It's three bedroom and the kitchen has a ton of cabinets!!! The area is not exactly Dublin or anything, but it's one a quiet street with not alot of traffic. We should know by Monday if they accept our offer or not!!!

Here we Go...
Well...we got to look at houses today. The one that had the really big yard was just too much of a stretch for me. As much as I wanted to like it, it just wasn't there. The whole house was hard wood floors, which I am not a fan of (too hard to keep clean!!) except for the Kitchen which had carpet. It was just cramped and weird. We would have had a hard time putting our Queen size bed in the bedroom, so we ruled that one out. We got it down to two. We are hoping to go back to see them again this Sunday with our family so they can see what they think. I put links on the page (hopefully they will work) to both of them. The first one is the one I like best, and I think Chris does too. It needs nothing done to it except paint what colors we want. The second wouldn't need much and has only had one owner since 1956! But anyway....here they are.

Same Ole....
So I figured now that it's been over a month since my last post it's time to put something on here. There's really nothing new going on right now. We're still in the class, and getting ready to start the Revelation book in Chinese, so that should be very interesting. Right now we are trying to get a house. We have picked out about six houses that we were supposed to look at last Sunday, but our realitor was sick (of course!!!) so we are going this Sunday. Hopefully that should all work out for us. It won't be anything fancy, but it will be a place where we won't have to listen to our downstairs neighbor beat on his girl (just our next door ones!!) The bucks lost and that really really sucks, but we still beat Michigan and got the Heisman so it was still a good season. Besides, the way they played we didn't deserve to win. (Except for FL 2nd t.d. when the kids knee was CLEARLY on the ground!!!!) But anyway, it really is the same old here, but we will keep you updated on the housing situation.

wE'Re OfFiCaL!!!!
Well, as of Nov 22, 2006, the Columbus, Ohio Chinese group is offically recognized by the Society!!!!! We were all so surprised, they had just told us at last weeks class that they had sent in the paper work about two weeks ago and then they annouced it Wednesday at Central's Service Meeting. I was cought so off guard that I was starting to cry (thanks Mom!!). After meeting, Jessica Rambo that I went to Ohio State with came up and we gave each other a big hug...we've both been waiting a long time for this!!! This also will be a test for those who said they were waiting until the group was offical to move to Central, us included!! But Chris talked to the secretary after meeting, so all we have to do is inform our current secretary. I'm pretty sure they have morning meeting right now, and since the year is almost over, that means I won't have morning meeting for another two years!!! It's already been two since my last one!! Aawww....3:30pm....here we come!!!!

Hijacking

I stole this pick from my friends website. This is Danielle Belle. She is responsible for all of our beautiful wedding pictures. And this a picture of her in our new hall. Since I don't have a digital camera and I'm still developing pictures from 2004, this is the quickest way for everyone to see how beautiful our new hall is.
