Aaaand.....GOO!!!!!!

There!!! It's updated!!!
I just had to wait for something exciting to happen and as you can see it did! Chris and I were getting ready for work yesterday morning and we were both in the laundry room getting dressed. All-of-a-sudden I hear, "Oh Geez!" "Mother that hurt" "Aarrgghh!!" I turned around wonndering what in the world happened and Chris turns his shoulder to me and I see the top photo that you see hear. My mind didn't put it together cause it looked like a peeling sunburn and I was just like, "huh". He said he was backing up to get out of my way and he backed up into the flue from the furnace. When I realized what happened I was just like, "Oh Crap!" I started looking for the neosporine with pain reliever and of course couldn't find it since we actually had a situation goin' on. I had to go out to his work truck and get into the first aid kit and get ointment. Now mind you, this is about 5:30 am and it's probably 20 some degrees outside. I had to hurry and get dressed and go outside and immediately slipped on the ice and dropped the flashlight which proptly fell apart into three pieces. I don't think that it had registered just how serious it was at first. When it finally hit me I was like, "I'm gonna be late for work!!!" So then I'm trying to call off work, find stuff to put on the burn, and not freak out all at the same time. Seriously, if this would have been on anyone else I would not have been able to deal with it, and I'm not a weak stomached person! Since it was on his shoulder he can't reach it. He tried to get some of the dead skin off and when he pulled on it more and more was coming off...eww...so I finally was just like "Let me do it!" (He normally doesn't trust me) So I had to peel all the dead skin...SICK!!...and bandage it up. Luckily, we had just enough gauze to cover it. He went to work for a while and then went to Urgent Care. They gave him a script for silvadine cream and we restocked on gauze. After having to clean it last night and this morning I also made sure to buy some latex gloves. I would rather clean up puke than clean it. It's dee-scugst-ing!! There are colors and smells coming from that thing that the human body should not produce! The bottom picture is from last night. It's already healing up really well.
But needlessly to say, we have had an exciting past couple of days! So there you go, there is your update. NOW BACK OFF!

We love you soo much we just want to hear from you! Sorry about the injury Chris it looks very painful, Kelly it sounds like you were a very good nurse :). Believe me I know the different and weird things that come out of the body all the time. Thanks for the update.

Looks like a nasty burn. Hope Chris is mending just fine. Be careful, burns can get infected real easy. We had the quick build on our Kingdom Hall this weekend. It is beautiful. We fed 541 at lunch today.
